Steven Gerard Farrell is an Assistant Professor of Speech Communication at Greenville Technical College in Greenville, South Carolina. His teaching career began in 1979, and it has included tours of teaching duties in the lecture halls of the University of South Carolina-Upstate, the University of Wisconsin-Parkside and Texas A&M University. Steven also spent a decade teaching overseas in Japan and Saudi Arabia.  His wanderings have taken him to five continents and thirty countries, as well as to all fifty states.

Professor Farrell is the author of seven books. Three of his books ("Liverpool Roared," "Zen Babe" and "Boston Knuckles") are currently available at www.Amazon.com.   Check-out the author's page for Steven G. Farrell.

He is also the author of numerous articles, reviews, short stories and poems.A collection of essays, short stories, reviews and one play, entitled "Farrell's Irish Papers," shall be released in the spring of 2010 by World Audience Publishers. 

His collected essays, "Professor Farrell's Irish Papers," were formally accepted by the Irish Film Institute Archives in Dublin, Ireland in March of 2009.

Professor Farrell has presented talks and papers at numerous conferences, symposiums and forums throughout the country. He has also addessed many clubs, historical societies and organizations in the southeast and the midwest. Steven Gerard Farrell has been a frequent guest on Lou Rugani's "Old Time Kenosha" program on WLIP am Radio.

Professor Farrell is situated in Greenville, South Carolina, but he is able to travel throughout the United States and Canada.

The Professor's fees are set upon a fixed scale. Travel expenses and the scope of your events are always factored in.$2.500.00 to $3.5000.00 is the normal price range. 50% of the fee must be paid in advance as a retainer of his services.

The conducting of workshops and seminars, as well the writing of speeches, involves a hourly rate of $100.00 to $200.00 per hour and travel expenses (if necessary). A 50% retainer is required once an agreed upon total hours is reached.
